Multimedia Design & Video Art

A improvisational expanded cinema performance in collaboration with Sonia Rosa Kahn; musical performers: Sha’ar; video documentation by Hari Nandu
My experimental short film screening at Waveforms, a multimedia art event presented by Museum of Science Boston
Live visuals at Me Mer Mo Monday, an avant-garde music series at dadaLab in Austin, Texas; musical performer: Walt McClements
A collaborative audiovisual performance at Brooklyn Brewery with Christobal Bernal, Mariam Kvashilava, and William Laziza
Live visuals at Synthbiosis, an electronic music series; musical performer: Michelle Kay
In addition to my graphic design work, I create multimedia art, video, and live visuals using digital and analog technology. I use a variety of experimental filmmaking and video art techniques to generate visuals that respond to light, audio, and other environmental inputs in real-time, often collaborating with other visual artists and musicians.

Skills: Experimental film, video art, concert & event visuals, VJing
Tools: Resolume, video cameras, video mixers, video synthesizers

Improvisational expanded cinema performance with Sonia Rosa Kahn at Wavefield (Brooklyn, New York, 2025)
I created abstract video art loops through analog camera feedback. Sonia hand processed 16mm film based on my video art footage, using chemical manipulation to distort the film. She projected the 16mm loops alongside my live video feedback projections for an interwoven analog-digital visual performance.

Screening at Waveforms (Boston, Massachusetts, 2025)
One of my experimental short films was selected to screen at Waveforms, a multimedia art event presented by Museum of Science Boston. The screening was curated by Boston CyberArts. My film was created using camera feedback from a camcorder, an analog video mixer, and a CRT TV.

Live visuals at Me Mer Mo Monday at dadaLab (Austin, Texas, 2025)
Using live camera feeds and video effects processing software, I provided visual accompaniment for experimental music acts Little Mazarn and Nicole Hale, Walt McClements, and Thor Harris. The visuals were displayed across the stage using four projectors and a bitmap LED floor.

Audiovisual performance at Brooklyn Brewery (Brooklyn, New York, 2025)
I participated in a collaborative audiovisual performance at Brooklyn Brewery with three other visual artists. Using multiple projectors, we provided a dynamic multimedia backdrop for the night’s musical performers. I worked with 2D artist Mariam Kvashilava, using a live camera feed and video effect processing software to manipulate her drawings and project them on the wall. Christobal Bernal used colored dyes and an overhead projector to create psychedelic visuals inspired by liquid light shows of the 1960s. William Laziza used a camera and video synthesizer to generate synaesthetic patterns.

Live visuals at Synthbiosis at The Wood Shop (Brooklyn, New York, 2025)
Using an analog camcorder and video mixer, I displayed colorful feedback loops on an LED wall behind the stage to support the night’s electronic music performances.
